Workshop registration will take place at the Olarain residence, on July 9th starting at ~ 4 pm. Room keys will be available for pick-up 1 pm in case you arrive early.

The bus fare is 1.45 Euros; we suggest that you have some coins with you although drivers do provide change.

Arriving to San Sebastian:
By Plane:
International flights to Bilbao (BIO) or Biarritz (France; BIQ). National flights from Madrid or Barcelona directly to San Sebastian (EAS). Below is an image of the area with the relative locations of the three cities (encircled).
Getting from Bilbao Airport (also called Loiu, www.aena.es) to San Sebastian: The best connection is by bus, directly from Bilbao airport to the central bus station in Donostia-San Sebastian. Regular connections can be found during the day and it takes around one hour. (See detailed schedule, www.pesa.net).
Getting from Biarritz Airport (www.biarritz.aeroport.fr) to San Sebastian: The connections by public transport are not very good. One of the best possibilities is to take the bus number 6 or a taxi to the city center of Biarritz and then take a bus (see timetable www.pesa.net) next to the tourist office directly to the central bus station in Donostia-San Sebastian or take a train to Hendaye (see schedule www.sncf.com) and then a train (Eusko Tren, www.euskotren.es ) to the center of Donostia-San Sebastian.
From Donostia-San Sebastian Airport (in Hondarribia, www.aena.es) to San Sebastian: There is a bus connection (www.interbus.com.es/nuevoi2directo.htm) to Donostia-San Sebastian which takes 25 min.
By Train:
There is a good TGV service to Hendaye (France; www.sncf.com, www.db.de), including from London St. Pancras. From Hendaye to San Sebastian take Eusko Tren (www.euskotren.es). There is also a train service from Lisboa. Check schedules www.renfe.es.
Arriving at the institute:
The Institute is located south of the city on a hill next to a large park. Local transportation information will appear here at a later date.
